Designed by our friends at Holmes King Kallquist Architects, this Skaneateles, New York home combined heavy timber with steel. The kitchen parallel chord truss features horizontal thru tenons and a heavy steel rod, shaped and fitted through the truss helping to carry the load over the long span while adding to the overall design aesthetics.
