Sifting through old sketches, Mike Beganyi, long-time employee and TF designer representing us in New England, dug up an unbuilt roof concept. The plan of the roof is derived from the golden section. In elevation the plate heights invert from high to low allowing the roof surfaces to twist (and overlap) as they climb skyward. This design remains unbuilt - but the concept eventually informed the design of a great room in a custom designed residence.
