Custom clear vertical grain Douglas fir treads include walnut inlay all handcrafted by our fine woodworking group, NEWwoodworks for a client's home near the shore of Lake Erie. The stairs stretch up three levels with a 2.5" diameter walnut railing which tops bronze spindles and inserts all linking to steel stringers creating a 'floating' tread.
