Meet Bill, a long time employee -- so long that Bill has the distinction of having employee #010, which makes him our 10th employee hired way back in 1986. Bill came to us as a timber framer, but after nearly two decades of hand crafting frames, he followed his heart to our fine woodworking shop, where his talent for custom cabinetry has been hard at work ever since. He also helps his wife Charlotte, run Summer Beam Books, a unique book store dedicated to timber framing, house design and construction, alternative building, barns, and historic buildings. He doesn't have an official title, because his tasks are so varied, though recently we heard 'president of book schlepping' is a front runner.
