The Wild Water Derby is a Shortsville, NY tradition of extreme paddling and fun. It's a tradition we've sponsored and participated in for many years. Due to excessive rain and flooding, the derby was postponed from April to this coming weekend (May 21–22). There's still time for you to register your kayak, canoe, or raft. The homemade raft event is a spectator favorite, creativity and humor earn "extra" points. Besides fun and bragging rights, you might just come home with one of these paddle awards hand crafted by our fine woodworking group.
