Come-along straps are a vital tool at any raising. These rounded nylon straps have multiple uses–from wrapping timbers so they can be lifted by the crane, to pulling timbers apart to allow snug joints to align smoothly, to keeping timbers from falling until multiple joints have been pegged. This particularly large frame raised in Massachusetts required many, many straps.
