Little known fact from our friends at Pioneer Millworks: When your wood floor arrives, be sure to acclimate it to the room you'll be installing it in. This allows the wood to absorb or release moisture before you install it. Two weeks is ideal, but if your A-type lifestyle insists, a week will do.
