This family home is situated on six acres near Oneonta, New York. To promote family interaction and eventually make it friendly to grow old in, three  distinct “zones” work together to maintain the universal design: The exterior/public wrap-around porch with views to the valley toward the south;  the interior open floor plan connecting entry with living spaces, and the private/family courtyard area with screened in porch, pool, outdoor fireplace and views of the woods to the west.
