Back to the Spa! Later this Summer we'll be raising a porte-cochere for the Spa at Del Monte in Pittsford NY, using Kiln Dried Douglas Fir. Fun fact: The porte-cochere, not to be confused with a portico, was a feature of many late 18th and 19th century mansions and public buildings. A well-known example of one is featured at Buckingham Palace.
