Mike's the head of the timber frame shop. In addition to his feline sense of balance (he'll be the guy walking nonchalantly along the ridge beam on raising day), Mike has an uncanny ability to think in 3D & can come up with a solution before anyone else has an inkling that there's a problem. This week he's helping dismantle a reclaimed timber frame which, with Mike's guidance, we'll re-raise later in the Spring. Now that's material longevity!
