When we completed George and Priscilla's home on Cayuga lake nearly 10 years ago we enjoyed George's suggestion of a nautical theme, both in respect to the waterway and to his ancestor Joshua Slocum, the first man to solo circumnavigate the planet. A full scale, functional, timber frame lighthouse adorns the front of the completed home.
