When we built George and Priscilla's home on Cayuga lake, we liked George's suggestion of a nautical theme, both in respect to the waterway, and to his ancestor Joshua Slocum, the first man to solo circumnavigate the planet. A full scale, functional, timber frame lighthouse adorns the front of the completed home.
