Jake's steady hand serves him well with carving skills (he's the force behind all of our timber engravings) and on raising days driving pegs, making small detail adjustments to joinery and, as seen here captured through the lens by co-worker Mike B, convincing a brace to settle into the mortise pocket. Away from heavy timbers, if he's not swooning over his wife, daughter, and son, he and his dog Stewie often find themselves at the dry end of a fishing pole.
