Peg offcuts were flying as Rick wielded a Japanese saw to trim them from a pre-assembled bent during a raising. While pegs can be left as is, our preference is to trim them often using a flat guide to ensure consistent lengths (about 1/8" of an inch is typically left proud from the timber).
