Rather than wait until the entire home is complete, we wanted to give you an opportunity to watch it evolve. For those of you in the neighborhood, you'll have a opportunity to tour the home during an open house. For others, we'll do our best to keep you in the know with photos and other interesting tidbits. There are many, many reasons this project is unique: from the contemporary timber frame design to its eco-materials, however, it's the journey of bringing it all together to build a LEED Platinum residential home in Portland that will prove most exciting.
Here are a few highlights:
- A hybrid timber frame using reclaimed and fresh cut FSC timbers
- Approximately 3,000 sq. ft.
- Working toward LEED-H Platinum
- It boasts an detached studio offering roughly 600 sq. feet living space.
- Products are chosen for environmental and social responsibility
- Built on a flag parcel within city limits because we believe in urban development
- All flooring will be made in the USA using reclaimed or salvaged wood
