New Energy Works Timberframers is 100% Wind Powered

New Energy Works is 100% Wind Powered

We pay a small premium on our electricity bill in order to purchase power sourced from wind farms. By doing so, we're trying to keep our carbon footprint as small as possible.

New Energy Works Timberframers donates Solar Ovens

Solar Ovens & Timberframing

In order to combat the effects of deforestation in developing countries, where the majority of cooking fires are fueled by wood, we contribute to solar oven charities. These low-tech devices allow families to cook their food using the power of the sun, reducing the need to gather firewood.

New Pioneer Millworks Kiln

Clean Burning Waste to Keep Warm

We're the proud owners of not one, but two Garn boilers. These huge wood-fired heaters enable us to burn our scrap wood and heat our shop, office and kilns. Best of all, they burn at a very high temperature, so that particulate emissions are negligible.

New Energy Works powers it's equipment with Biodiesle

Biodiesel

Our off-road equipment is fueled by veggie oil, rather than dinosaur juice. By making biodiesel, we're doing our little bit to reduce the country's dependence on imported oil and make our forklifts' exhausts smell like French fries.

Building a stronger Community

Being part of the Community

We're committed to being active members of our community, be that the immediate towns in which we do business, or society at large. In the last few years, we've donated money, time or materials to many worthwhile organizations and causes.

stronger community here.
