This barn started out life as a sawmill,
which was involved in a fire and was subsequently slated
for demolition. The new owner thought it would make
a pretty nice barn to compliment the house we raised
for his family, so had it dismantled and shipped to
his property. There were, unfortunately problems with
the contractor he hired to re-raise the frame, but after
a quick phone call, a crack 'flying squad' of NEW timber
framers were dispatched to the site. After pausing briefly
in a phone booth to don their capes they managed to
rescue the job, working 14 hour days in August heat.
