The project is almost dried in at this stage. Tad and Sean are having a lot of fun with the tower, as its taper means that every horizontal framing element is different and must be painstakingly measured, laid out and individually cut. Conventional framing practices don't apply when you're building a labor of love. You can see in some of the shots below that this home features our proprietary Matrix wall system, which offers all of the advantages of stress skin and addresses most of its drawbacks.
