| We find that the timber
frames go through variety of moods as the building progresses. On
raising day, when the it stands naked against the sky the frame seems
huge and imposing as there's nothing else in the picture to compare
it to. It seems to lose some of its brash confidence as soon as the
panels are installed and the mundane tasks associated with completing
the home are underway; then as the end of the project approaches and
backdrops change from rough carpentry to finished surfaces, it reemerges
looking like the fine piece of furniture we always hoped it would
be. |
