A Lakeside Aerie timber frame home
A Lakeside Aerie

After twenty years of designing and building fine homes to clients' specifications, we decided to build one to our own.

Conceived as part of the Rochester Homebuilders' Association 'Dream Home Showcase' project, this house took shape over 2004 and was on display to the public during July 2004. A Lakeside Aerie features New Energy Works at our creative best and allows us to showcase the talents of our designers, timberframers, fine woodworkers, and construction crew, as well as displaying some gorgeous reclaimed wood from Pioneer Millworks.

This section of our website documents the progress of the house from concept to finished reality, and we invite you to take a look through our journey of wrestling a tight deadline, a difficult site, and all the myriad decisions that had to be made.
